1. Your photos stay on your device

When you choose an image on the Website, it is opened and compressed inside your own browser using your device's processing power. The image is not uploaded to our servers, stored, viewed or shared by us. When you close or refresh the page, the working copy in your browser is discarded.

2. Information we collect

We do not require an account and do not ask for your name or email to use the tool. We may receive:

• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time in order to deliver the Website and protect it from abuse.
• Usage analytics. We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from and what device they use. This data is aggregated and does not include your photos.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.

3. Cookies

The Website itself does not set cookies to make the tool work. Analytics and, in the future, advertising services may set their own cookies or use similar identifiers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the compression tool will keep working.

4. Advertising

We may show ads through Google AdSense in the future. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK) we will ask for your consent before ad or analytics cookies are used.

5. How we use information

• To operate, secure and improve the Website.
• To understand which tools and pages are useful.
• To respond to messages you send us.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Third-party services

The Website is hosted by Cloudflare and may use Google Analytics and Google AdSense. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. Links to other sites, such as Google Play, are governed by those sites' policies.

7. Data retention

Photos are never retained by us. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics provider. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Email us and we will respond to reasonable requests.

9. Children

The Website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
